Subject: What does death mean to an atheist?
Author: Sheath

Comment: First of all, evolution is not a belief system. You don't have to be an atheist to believe in evolution, and you aren't necessarily an atheist if you do believe in evolution. Second, how is "disproving" the theories of evolution a default status to believe in God? As if there could not be an infinite number of possibilities as unlikely as God. Saying a friend showed you one video tape that taught you evolution is based around assumptions (as derived from the word theory) made you want to believe in God, makes me think you're extremely easy to presuade. Your wisdom is quite lacking in this conversation. Third, how is creationism not based on assumptions of the past? There is no evidence that God exists here and now; beyond the billions of people who say "I believe". If you call that evidence, you might want to reconsider the existence of Santa Claus and the Easter Bunny as well.
