Subject: What does death mean to an atheist?
Author: Follower

Comment: To believe that all forms of life evolved from a single common ancestor is a belief system. Plain and simple. There is no shred of evidence to prove it. Secondly, I never said that you had to be an atheist to believe in evolution. Please read my post again. I used the term ?atheistic evolutionists?. I have several coworkers that believe God used evolution to create. I don?t agree, but I certainly wouldn?t classify them as atheists. You proved my point about evolution being a belief system without realizing it. Quoting you, ?As if there could not be an infinite number of possibilities as unlikely as God?. This statement as ?belief? written all over it. It says to me that atheistic evolutionists really have no clue, but we don't believe in God, so we have to use the "infinite possibilities" argument. I?m easy to persuade? Sorry you got that idea, but I wanted to be brief in my previous post. The debates I had when I was an atheist went on for years. The video tape simply exposed all the evolutionary teaching for what it is?.A LIE. The point is, students in school today are being indoctrinated. They are not being taught to think and they are certainly not being taught real science. For someone (Darwin) to say that bananas and humans are related has nothing at all to do with science. You can believe it if you want, but please don?t teach the kids in school today this garbage. You next point about ?creationism being based on assumptions?: Creationism is based on historical written evidence. The Bible. Evolution has no written historical account. It?s only based on beliefs about the past. Unfortunately, these beliefs are being taught as fact. Next point: In Romans 1:20, God?s Word says that the evidence for God is all around us. For example, someone very dear to me just had heart valve replacement surgery. As the Doctor was describing how a normal heart valve functions, I couldn?t help but think that this confirms a Creator. It saddens me to know that people can look at something as complicated as a heart valve, not to mention the heart itself, and believe that millions of years ago some chemicals got together and the first lifeform came into being. Then, due to some aimless process (evolution), we have the complex lifeforms today. My friend, you have far greater faith than me to believe something as complicated as a heart valve is the result of chance.....not to mention life which is many, many times more complex.
