Subject: What does death mean to an atheist?
Author: Zeek

Comment: I don't know if anyone is even here anymore, but I'd like to answer the original question. Theo, being an atheist means that you have no belief in god. It doesn't mean that you can't allow for the possibility that there's life after death. The two ideas are not inextricably linked. I don't believe in god, but I am not so arrogant as to think that I know how the entire universe works. For all I know, there could be other dimensions, and we could be multi-dimensional beings. Or death could be the end of us. Or something else! People should resist the temptation to put all questions into black vs. white, Bible vs. non-Bible terms. Open your mind! And be honest.
